A tall white house built in a Victorian style looks like it escaped out of a dream! The whole setting is absolutely magical and greatly perfected by the white picket fence that carries a bit of a vintage style itself! A white picket fence is a timeless feature. Even when it loses its initial glistening white look it will still feel just as charming as ever giving the home’s outdoors a traditional appeal!
Wooden screens brise soleil and smart planning ensure that this elegant vacation home finds that perfect balance between openness and complete privacy. On the inside a neutral color scheme is disturbed by pops of red even as exposed granite and stone granule plaster give the escape a touch of rustic charm.
Since the home did not have to accommodate spaces for kids there was a certain amount of design freedom that the architects gladly tapped into. The open and long living area is flanked by dining space and kitchen on one end and the bedroom on the other.
Even though much of the focus remains on the wooden courtyard pool area and the shaded walkways life on the inside is equally enjoyable with modern minimal style holding sway. Exposed concrete surfaces brick walls painted in white and stone countertops in black create textural contrast without moving away from the neutral color scheme.
Was reimagined and revamped by Millimeter Interior Design as they went about creating an entirely new floor plan that relied on a neutral color scheme smart arrangement of spaces and resourceful design solutions. The sparkling new interior exudes an air of minimalism and sophistication with white being the predominant color of choice.
Adding to this rich sense of diversity is the large natural rock wall around the courtyard that is laced with tropical plants. A custom irrigation system is used to water this unique living wall that shields the home from prying eyes while providing a tinge of green to the polished residence.
Apart from the timber slats it is the delightful use of Cumaru wood for the creation of the expansive deck and the living area concrete walls on the lower level and exquisite stone finishes that usher in plenty of textural contrast and an air of sophistication. Each space flows into the next effortlessly with sliding glass doors delineating space.
