Large glass doors and walls connect the front section of the interior with the spacious yard wooden deck and pool. The rear is carefully hidden away and contains comfortable private spaces. A smart indoor-outdoor interplay ample shaded space and a beautifully lit pool deck help set the backdrop for an ideal staycation!
One can see the rear balcony and the panoramic view beyond even from the entry as an open common space creates the heart of the home. Surrounded by large redwood trees and a relaxing garden the focus here remains firmly on the landscape outside!
The small Victorian house was in need of a contemporary upgrade and this came in the form of a breezy rear addition that now contains the new kitchen dining area storage space and bathroom. Relying on a neutral color scheme that is anchored in white and ample natural light the stylish extension flows into the small garden outside.
Even when the picket fence is not in the center of attention it’s hard to imagine the yard without it. The focal point is undoubtedly the house and the fence may be hidden among the tall flowers but just catching a glimpse of it can be felt upon the ambiance of the whole home!
Adding to this rich sense of diversity is the large natural rock wall around the courtyard that is laced with tropical plants. A custom irrigation system is used to water this unique living wall that shields the home from prying eyes while providing a tinge of green to the polished residence.
