Not a busy night in Boys Hoops on Thursday, the biggest game occurring between City rivals New Mission and Brighton. New Mission would beat Brighton convincingly 80-35 giving Coach Cory McCarthy his 100th win as coach of the Titans (story in the Boston Herald).
In other games, Arlington Catholic improved to 7-1 defeating Archbishop Williams 55-44. It was AC's third straight win in as many days as they beat Bishop Fenwick and Lynnfield on Tuesday and Wednesday (score and summary in the Boston Globe)
A full slate of games tonight with a few interesting ones to watch. In the Hock, Mansfield travels to Franklin in a game where fans always get their money's worth and an a pivotal South Shore match-up where Rockland pays Cohasset a visit. In the DCL, Bedford and Concord-Carlisle meet in a game that should have playoff implications. And finally in the Bay State, rivals Brookline and Newton North hook up in an always entertaining game.
